Parade

As part of the celebration leading up to the Jim Bowie Days Rodeo it has been a tradition to do a parade the morning before the Saturday night rodeo. Come out to show your support for all of our competing cowgirls and cowboys as well as all the amazing business and suppoerters that make this rodeo possible. 

The theme this year is "Long Life Cowboys & Cowgirls!." Prizes will be awarded to the first place winners in these following categories: business, equestrian, riding club, youth or sports organization and civic or church organization.Come out and cheer for your favorite floats and groups and say hello to the 2022 Grand Marshal, Pioneer Queens, and Rodeo Queen and Little Miss Conestants. Some other faces that have made their apparence in the past include the Texas Tech Masked Rider, Harrdon Simmions Six White Horses, Longhorns from the Fort Worth Stock Yards, and Ketch Weaver!
